This session will provide an overview of the NSF Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (TIP) Directorate, NSF I-Corps programs, and the new NSF I-Corps New England Hub based at MIT.

NSF TIP programs are designed to advance research toward real-world impact by helping researchers explore and de-risk the translation of their work on pathways beyond the lab — such as via startups, technology licensing, or corporate partnerships—while strengthening their future grant proposals, industry engagement, and career options.

We will also cover NSF New England I-Corps Hub programs at MIT including examples of collaborations with campus initiatives and groups – with interest in exploring how to best serve the expanding quantum community.
