Engineering and quantum control of multiple nitrogen-vacancies in diamond: From ultra-long spin coherence time to correlated sensing
Wang, Ya - USTC
Presentation on Thursday, April 27, 2023, 10 a.m.
Location: Virtual
Engineering quantum systems with distinguished quantum properties are at the core of quantum information technologies. As an excellent solid-state spin system, nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamonds are widely applied in quantum sensing and quantum network. In this talk, I will introduce our recent progress in engineering NV centers in diamond with ultra-long spin coherence time and nanoscale-precision doping which constitute important tools for developing single spin probes with sub-nanotesla sensitivity and multiple NV center-based quantum probes. In the second part of my talk, I will discuss our progress in developing the control techniques at cryogenic temperature and correlated sensing using multiple NV centers for dark point-defects imaging.
